Alexander Braun, Ph.D., M.S., CTO
Chief Technology Officer, board member since 2006.
Degrees in physics from Leipzig University and Portland State University. Specialized in thin film, laser physics and surface science since 1996.

Dr. Ottmar Koeder, Ph.D., M.S., COO
Chief Operating Officer, board member since 2011. 1986 degree in electrical engineering from Technical University Munich. Various leading positions in semiconductor industry and PV thin-film manufacturing. Extensive management expertise, specialized in yield management & product and process analysis.

Vice President of Finance, board member since 2007.
Degree in Business Administration, previously Vice President of Finance at a leading supplier for the German automotive industry. Since 2006 with Solarion.

Andreas Rahm, Ph.D., M.S.
Solar Cell Research and Development Director, board member since 2008.
Studies in physics at Leipzig Univ. and Lancaster University. Comprehensive knowledge in semiconductor physics, material science and solar physics.

Markus Münch
Module Division Director, board member since 2008.
M.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Leipzig University of Applied Science in 1996. More than 12 years of experience in a leading German solar module company at various key positions in technical sales, product management and as Solar Module R&D Director (6 years).

Stefan Nitzsche
Sales/Marketing Director, board member since 2009.
Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Ceramic Engineering (M.S.) from Technical University Ilmenau. Twelve years experience as sales and product manager in the field of technical ceramics in Germany and the USA. From 2006 to 2009 Key Account and Product Manager in a German thin-film PV company.

CEO of AllMerus Energy Ltd., London. More than 30 years of global management and energy industry experience. Chief Commercial Officer and member of the Executive Board of PreussenElektra AG and E.ON Energie (Hanover and Munich, Germany) from 1998 to 2001. Currently Chairman of the Board of EEII AG (Zug, Switzerland), Member of the Board of Russo Forest Corp. (Toronto, Canada) and Chairman of the Board of Spectrum Power Generation Limited (Hyderabad, India).
